Catch a Broadway-style musical, or an evening of classic or modern theatre, at one of Bangkok’s many stylish venues. Live concerts with jazz, pop, rock and other genres of music are regularly held in this city. Or party into the wee hours with world famous DJs who perform regularly at Bangkok’s hottest clubs.

The city has a vibrant arts scene, with renowned artists showcasing their works at various venues. And with the city’s multiple exhibition and convention centres, there’s often an exciting trade fair to visit.
Musicals and Theatre

The Patravadi Theatre located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River offers a variety of outstanding performance arts, from the classical to the modern. The National Theatre located on Na Phra That Road houses wonderful Thai classical performances of dance and drama. The Thailand Cultural Centre on Ratchadaphisek road hosts regular Thai and international cultural performances, from classical music to ballet and dance.
 

Concerts
The Impact Arena and exhibition centre located in Pakkret, about 40 km from Bangkok’s central business district, is where most international artists touring Bangkok hold their performances. The concert hall offers seating for 12,000 people, and the open-air amphitheatre hosts up to 40,000 people. Artists like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kylie Minogue, Eric Clapton and Fatboy Slim have all performed here. Concerts featuring Thai and international artists are also held at the Thailand Cultural Centre.

Trade Fairs and Exhibitions
A number of business and trade fairs are held at BITEC (Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center), one of the largest trade venues in all of Thailand, located close to the Suvarnabhumi Airport. Exhibitions and fairs are also held at the Impact Convention Centre and Impact Exhibition Centre.

Live Music and Clubbing
Tourists can enjoy live performances by Thai artists in a variety of venues, from the Suan Luam Night Bazaar to pubs and bars across the city. QBar and the Bed Supper Club in Sukhumwit often host sessions with host world-famous DJs spinning tracks for party-goers.
