Talay Trang SAND
BEACH
The beach is the plain ground without any shelter
to veil like the areas of the reefs and coral. Therefore, the
wave which moves the sand around can influence the animals and
the habitats there. When exposed to the sunshine, the areas
where the tide rises or recedes hold the fluctuating
temperatures.
Animal living along the beach have to adapt to this environment
i.e. embedding, digging holes into the deep sand, building tubes
or using hard elements as shelters or moving up and down in
congruence with the tide.
