Just came back from staying at Destination Beach Resort & Spa.

 

What a hotel! We stayed in a Beach Villa which overlooked Bo Phut Beach, on the left you can see the Big Buddha and unlike the crowded beaches on Chaweng, our beach was isloated!

 

Perfect for just spending time with the wife and a great getaway from the city!

 

The Spa was incredible, called by the tree (there is a tree in the centre of the spa), we often spent our days trying the different therapy sessions. One must do a traditional Thai massage, talk about soothing away all those aches & pains.

 

The restaruant "by the sea" (need i explain any further) was great and at sunset we would just sit and watch life go by...

 

Our villa was private offering it's own pool & the room spacious + comfortable. I am a fussy person and have stayed in many excellent resorts, so trust me when i say it really was excellent.

 

We were just 10 minutes from the airport & 10 minutes away from the Chaweng area, there are so many great restaurants around & i can't really justify in words the island. My wife & i enjoyed our stay so much that we planning to go back next year!
